Considering Belgium is so synonymous with beer, it seems only appropriate that the Belgian Beer Cafe Melbourne would mark the country's national day with a particularly special beer event.
For the third year running, the bar asked some local breweries brewer some Belgian-inspired beers just for the occasion.
Those breweries attending are:
- Edge Brewing
- Kaiju
- Holgate
- Valhalla
- Bad Shepherd
- Tallboy and Moose
- Red Duck
It's a free event, but you can buy a ticket for all seven beers by heading here.
For those who also want to try some rare treats from the homeland, Belgian Beer Cafe will be releasing some cellar stock from the likes of Rodenbach, Tilquin and Cantillon for the big day.
