Is there a day more loved by beer nerds globally than Zwanze Day?
The international celebration of lambic sees the legendary brewers at Cantillon release a beer that's tapped across the planet on the same day.
This year's allocation of Zwanze beer has made it to Carwyn Cellars who have put on both a breakfast and lunch session for the beer. Both of those are sold out but if you want to try the beer and don't have a ticket to ether, there's still a chance.
The bar will be open to the public from 2.30pm and along with the latest Zwanze, Carwyn will also be pouring one impressive range of wild beers. Included among them are five ‘Zwanze tribute’ beers from some of the bar's favourite local breweries, which highlights how far the sour and mixed fermentation scene has come along in the last few years.
