There's few breweries in Australia that fans of barrel-aged booze love quite like Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers.
Whether it's the much lauded Ramjet, sours, or a barrel-aged spirit from the Hippocampus range, oak is a big part of Boatrocker's story.
To celebrate all things wood, Boatrocker are hosting their inaugural Barrel Fest, which will feature a lineup of barrel-aged beers and spirits at their Braeside Barrel Room.
The good times will include food, live music and a Saturday masterclass for those who want to enhance their knowledge of oak.
Tickets to the masterclass cost $100 per person with attendees joining Boatrocker founder Matt Houghton for two hours as he guides drinkers through some of the brewery's releases, plus beers and spirits that are yet to be released and will be drawn straight from the barrel.
There's 10 percent off all drinks all weekend for Crafty Cabal members too.
