The Pint of Origin - The Crafty Pint's corner of Brewsvegas - is back for its third year.
It’s there to showcase the best beers from Australia and the rest of the world, with bars and pubs across Brisbane welcoming scores of brewers through their doors too.
As well as weeklong tap takeovers, venues are celebrating with a bunch of pop-up events and here's what's on the agenda for Saturday, March 23.
- Newstead Brewing Doggett Street. Bridges and Roads. Newstead is hosting a social ride with none other than Ben Krauss, founder of Bridge Road Brewing and a cycling legend.
- Newstead Brewing Doggett Street. The Brewers Panel. Newstead is pulling up a pew with some of Victoria's best brewers for an informal-yet-informative afternoon that's part beer tasting, part show-and-tell, part Q&A.
- Brewhouse Brisbane. All Hopped Up. The Brewseum presents a showcase of the best SA hop bombs on offer, with eight brand new beers highlighting eight creative and delicious examples of hopped up brews.
- Brewski. Abnormal Brewing Co. Some consider San Diego as the center of the brewniverse. And rightly so, there's no shortage of good breweries there. Including Abnormal Brewing Co, one of the hottest brewpubs on the West Coast right now. Brewski has air freighted the main man, Jeff Milton over to introduce his beers to the people of Brisbane.
