Pint of Origin has been The Crafty Pint’s corner of Good Beer Week since 2012.
It’s there to showcase the best beers from Australia and the rest of the world, with bars and pubs across Melbourne welcoming scores of brewers through their doors too.
As well as weeklong tap takeovers, venues are celebrating with a bunch of pop-up events and here's what's on the agenda for Wednesday, May 15:
- The Park. Ballistic Tap Takeover. Join The Park and their friends at Ballistic for a tap takeover of explosive proportions.
- Carwyn Cellars. Oregon Mega Regional Showcase. There can be no doubt that Oregon is at the forefront of the craft scene in the States, head into Carwyn to see what's happening in the state.
- The Catfish. Ale of a Time: West Island Vibes. Join the crew from Ale of a Time, and three rad guests from Chur, Deep Creek, and North End Brewing for a live podcast extravaganza.
- Miss Moses. Alice Springs Brewing & Beaver Brewing Victorian Launch Party. With fresh kegs of both Alice Springs Brewing Beaver Brewery, this event marks the very first time that any craft beer from the Northern Territory will be poured from Melbourne taps. Need we say more.
