We often associate barrel-aged beers and whiskies with dimly lit underground cellars (even if the reality isn’t always as romantic). So what better place to sample some barrel-aged goodness than in a hidden basement bar?
On July 25, find your way to Burrow Bar and be among the first in Sydney to taste Wolf of the Willows’ Lark Barrel Aged Imperial JSP and Lark Distillery’s The Wolf Release 2.0.
These special releases are part of the Barrel Exchange Project, a collaboration between a brewery and a distillery who share a love of oak and the characteristics it can impart upon drinks.
Over the course of the evening, Jonnie Edwards from Lark Distillery and Rowan Bruce from Wolf of the Willows will walk you through four whiskies paired with four Wolf of the Willows beers – all with matched food, of course.
