Rocky Ridge Brewing East Coast Launch At Carwyn Cellars (VIC)

Melbourne, get ready for Rocky Ridge Brewing – the much-loved sustainable WA brewery is bringing its beer to the East Coast.

The folks at Rocky Ridge grow much of their own hops, barley and wheat and are expanding their on farm production to increase how much of their ingredients are homegrown.

They use a proprietary house yeast and their own rainwater, and solar panels pump electricity into the brewery to make the beer too. Talk about self sufficient.

Their beers have proven a hit in their home state too, regularly appearing in our Best New WA Beers lists.

Melburnians can now try these farm-grown brews at Carwyn Cellars on Friday, August 23, where there'll be a ten tap takeover and a few prizes to boot.

Rocky Ridge owner and brewer Hamish Coates will be there too, so join him for a chat about his approach to brewing over a beer or two.

If you can't make it to Carwyn, there's a second Melbourne event at The Rose in Fitzroy on August 25 too – details here.
