Given they have a head brewer who cut his pro-brewing teeth in German, you'd expect Burnley Brewing to do Oktoberfest with a degree of panache.
And thus it is that they're going all out, not only running it over the same period as the official one in Munich but lining up no less than 12 special beers made according to the Reinheitsgebot, Bavarian style food and a masterclass too.
Their 24-day celebration of German beer styles runs from September 20 to October 13, giving head brewer Michael Stanzel plenty of opportunity to show off what he learnt over six years in Germany as they tap beers the brewers started working on back in July.
Hitting taps will be beers that include Dunkels, Weizen, Rauchbier, and a Bockbier (2018 and 2019 vintages), plus there will be a new can release, Helles Pale Lager.
They'll be kicking things off with the ringing of the bell at 6.30pm on Friday, September 20.
There will be a Munich Bier Hall menu starring bretzel, pork knuckle, Weiner schnitzel and roast chicken. Plus there is a lager masterclass on October 3, with tickets costing $15pp plus BF.
Burnley are also hosting a free preview Oktoberfest event for Crafty Cabal members. We added a few more spots on September 2 so you might be able to squeeze in if you're quick!
