If you'd never heard of Mr Banks and Otter's Promise before, you might expect a collaboration between them to be a whimsical children's story bringing together Mary Poppins and Wind in the Willows.
But if you've at least heard of this brewer and this bar - and even better, if you've experienced them firsthand - then you'll be expecting a cracker of a collab beer, which is arguably much better than a kid's book.
On Saturday from midday, head in to Otter's Promise for the launch of Once Upon A Time In Armadale. It's a hazy IPA using the new hop HORT 4337 and Citra, and comes in at a hefty 7.7 percent ABV.
It'll be part of a full tap takeover, with the Mr Banks Brewing team hanging around in the early arvo and bringing in some treats including their Bendigo On The Hop beer, Mayor of Flavourtown.
