When we were in preschool, we were told it's good to play nice with others. The brewers at Hargreaves Hill listened, and the result promises to be a tasty one.
The Likely Suspect is a collaboration between Hargreaves Hill and Yarra Valley winery Innocent Bystander, and brings the strengths of both producers to bear.
The brewery tells us they aged Belgian blonde ale in Innocent Bystander Chardonnay barrels for several months, then blended back with a small portion of tank-aged blonde ale along with a considered amount of rosé for added complexity, sweetness and a light pink hue.
On Friday, October 18, at 5pm, The Likely Suspect is being launched at two venues simultaneously:
- Kirk's Pub - 382 Little Bourke St, Melbourne
- Innocent Bystander Restaurant - 316-334 Maroondah Hwy, Healesville
Whether you're in Melbourne's CBD or the sprawling Yarra Valley, suss out The Likely Suspect for yourself.
