If you're all about celebrating the best in the west, make your way to the Boardwalk Beer Festival, Perth's biggest free beer festival*.
On Saturday, October 26, the festival returns to The Marina, Mindarie, with more than twenty craft breweries and cideries rocking up for the day.
Try beers from all around the massive state that is Western Australia (and from a few breweries from other states too). Enjoy free tastings and find your favourites, whether they be core offerings from breweries you haven't tried, or special releases from home team Indian Ocean Brewing's twenty tap takeover, such as Brett Not Brett and Fruitulus Lupulus NEIPA.
As if an afternoon of looking over the water with a beer in hand wasn't good enough, there'll also be a range of street food stalls, live music, a poolside Cabana party hosted by Little Creatures, and kids' activities to keep the little ones happy.
* You do still have to pay for your drinks, but entry's free!
