The Royal Hotel Leichhardt is transforming into a beer lover’s playground for the third year to host Inner West Beer Fest for one weekend in November.
The corners of Leichhardt’s Norton and Carlisle Streets come alive with more than ten breweries pouring their wares.
Featured breweries include Young Henrys, Batch Brewing, Willie the Boatman, Philter Brewing, Akashaand more to be announced at the time of writing.
Live music and DJs will perform across the weekend and there will also be a "best beer in show" award that grants the brewery a tap takeover at The Royal Hotel.
If you're after something a little more hands on, crab racing could be for you; a gold coin donation gets you your very own hermit crab to run laps around the others.
The day will also see ping-pong, arcade games, giant Jeng, giant connect four and food from Asian Dumpling House and Mexican Fiesta. Or grab a meal from The Royal’s stellar balcony as you overlook the festival and buzzing Norton Street.
