Few things go together better than BBQ and beer.
So, if you fancy getting your fill of both in the company of local brewers and BBQ pros, Toowoomba's Brews and Barbie Bash should be in your diary.
The event on November 9 features core and limited range beers from the likes of Slipstream, Aether, Archer/Patch, 4 Brothers, Black Hops and Little Creatures, alongside an array of BBQ food trucks, plus wine, cocktails, iced tea, coffee and more for non-beer drinkers.
There's also heaps of entertainment throughout the day:
- Masterclasses covering BBQ techniques, beer and brewing
- Live music
- An SCA sanctioned steak cook off competition with a $1,000 first prize
- Family-friendly games and competitions, including loudest shirt and best beard
In 2019, the Bash is moving to Toowoomba Railway Goods Shed and runs from midday to 9pm.
Standard tickets cost $20pp in advance (including first drink on arrival) or you can snap up $99 VIP experiences that feature drinks, grazing platters, reserved seating and table service.
WIN! We've got double passes to give away to Crafty readers too. Look out for our Facebook post about the event for a chance to win or, if you're a Crafty Cabal member, enter the ballot in your member's area before November 4. View our competition rules here.
NB The event is cashless so make sure you bring your card.
