High Country Comeback Event (VIC)

Australia's bushfire season has been the country's worst, destroying millions of acres of land, killing dozens and leaving thousands homeless.

It's also kept visitors out of some of the country's most beautiful regions during what is normally their peak tourism seasons.

Businesses in Victoria's High Country have had to close their doors during extreme fire risk periods and even when they've reopened, tourist numbers have been well down on their usual average.

To encourage tourists to return to the region and buy products from the affected businesses, The High Country Comeback 2020 is happening in Melbourne on February 2.

The day will showcasing food, wine, experiences, goodies and entertainment on offer in North East of Victoria and you can show your support by showing up with your #emptyesky and help revive the region.

Breweries involved include Blizzard Brewing, Billson's and Bright Brewery.

Door entry is a donation to local CFA and wildlife rescue.

The High Country Comeback is taking place at The Timber Yard, which is located at 351 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne.
