UPDATE (13/03): Government advice to cancel all non-essential events involving more than 500 people has prompted the cancellation of the 2020 Canberra Craft Beer and Cider Festival.
All current ticket holders will be automatically given a full refund by Moshtix.
While there are no plans to reschedule in 2020, the festival will be held once again next year on 20th March, 2021.
While it may have taken a few years longer than other state capitals to reach a critical mass in respect to craft beer coverage, it's worth noting that Canberra has had a craft beer festival for ages.
Indeed, what's now known as the Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival is about to officially enter its teens as the 2020 incarnation will see it celebrate a thirteenth year.
The fest features a whole host of Aussie breweries of all shapes and sizes, live music, gourmet food, guest speakers, interactive beer and food sessions, a charity raffle, jumping castles, face painting – the works.
Tickets cost just $18pp which includes a festival glass and five tasting tokens. And if you're planning on going with a bunch of mates, you can bag six tickets for the price of five.
