As far as classic dining experiences go, it's hard to beat a good old fashioned beer versus wine dinner. Whether you come in as a partisan or an impartial judge, the end result is always you knocking back a whole lot of varied drinks in the company of some matched food.
So it will be at the Sydney Brewery Surry Hills as they host their first Beer Vs Wine Dinner, pitting their own wares against those of South Australia's Nova Vita winery.
Each producer will get a chance to pair one of their best with each course of a three course meal and at the end of it all you'll get to decide the winner and congratulate yourself on an evening well spent.
