If you've spent any time in Busselton in the past few months, you'll be aware something big is brewing.
Shelter Brewing is set to open this spring, adding another brewery venue to the South West of WA – and one of the state's biggest operations too.
The owners of the family-friendly venue are looking to hire between 60 and 70 locals for roles on the floor, in the kitchen and brewery, and behind the bar, so they're holding a recruitment open day on October 3.
Anyone keen to land a job at the brewery can drop in from 10am to 3pm.
GM Paul Maley says: “We’re looking for team players, passionate locals experienced in hospitality who fit the culture of Shelter Brewing Co, which I like to describe as a kind of beachy, friendly professional.
“This will be our biggest intake of new staff and anyone interested in working by the beach, being part of a great team and providing excellent service should come along to our open day.”
Positions available include brewer, chef de partie, pizzaiolo, commis chef, apprentice chef, cook, kitchen hands, bar staff, floor staff and back-of-house staff.
Staff will be given training ahead of the public opening anticipated before November.
