Some of the Prancing Pony team were supposed to be travelling to Munich for Oktoberfest this year.
While those plans have been scuppered by COVID-19, they're bring the celebrations to the Adelaide Hills instead.
Throughout the entire month of October, they're serving up authentic German food and beer, promoting German beer culture and showcase German Schuplatteln, Dirndls, Lederhosen and Stein holding competitions.
The brewshed will be transformed into a German Beer Hall and, while dancing is not allowed at this stage, they'll be encouraging a little of the German beer drinking culture, which involves schunkeln and singing.
If you time your visit on Saturdays, you'll also be able to enjoy traditional performances by the Bund der Bayern midday to 2pm.
