What's sticky, sweaty and smells great after a few hours in the sun? You, after a morning spent picking hops at Van Dieman!
The beautiful Tasmania farm/brewery is opening its gates and inviting anyone to come along and help bring in this year's hop harvest. No experience is necessary - just bring a long-sleeved shirt, a hat and something to sit on.
Apparently it's a bumper crop, but they're only expecting it to take around four hours to bring in, depending on how many volunteers show up. In return for your toil, you'll get to enjoy a unique experience, some top notch chat, a small lunch and a few refreshing beverages.

As things going well, they're looking to get started stripping the bines at around 9am.
