If the Bavarians can start their Oktoberfest in September, Temple can sure as scheiße have theirs in November!
If you'd like to join them, head to the Brunswick East brewery on November 27 as they don their dirndl and lederhosen and get set to celebrate a day of traditional Bavarian fare. That will include (and if we're honest be centred around...) five of their own takes on classic German-style beers: Pilsner 56, Temple-Weiss, Vienna Lager, Maibock and Dunkelweiss.
The day will be run in two sessions – 12pm-4:30pm and 5:30pm-10pm – and a ticket to either one will set you back just $40, which includes a limited-edition Temple Oktoberfest stein, two half fills of said stein, and a serve of bratwurst, sauerkraut & pretzels.
And to top it off, 5% of all ticket sales will be donated to Beyond Blue to help with all the help that's very much needed around town at the moment.
