Are you one of those women who's thought about trying your hand at brewing but haven't quite managed to take that first step? Well, now's your chance to make it happen as Blackman's Brewery hosts the next edition of its free Ladies Who Love Beer workshops with a session on brewing.
You can join them at their Geelong venue on May 14 for a behind-the-scenes brew day that'll demonstrate, in a very practical sense, everything that happens to get raw brewing ingredients into the fermenter where it'll be transformed into delicious beer.
The session will run from 8.30am until about midday and all you'll need to bring are some closed-in shoes, long pants and a willingness to get involved. And, yes, there'll definitely be a beer to enjoy after all your hard work.
