Ballarat Beer Hop 2022

Six venues, twelve breweries, seven hours and one event you don't want to miss.

The Ballarat Beer Hop is officially on for 2022 and ready to lead you on a merry jaunt through the city in the pursuit of great beer and fabulous hospitality.

The way it works is thus: each participating venue will be playing host to two Victorian breweries. You get a ticket for the venue where you want to start, then simply follow the map on a self-guided tour of the rest of the venues until you've taken them all in (or at least as many as you deem necessary). Think beer festival meets pub crawl and you're in the ballpark.

So far the confirmed venues include Hop Temple, Aunty Jacks, Freight Bar and Midtown Cellars and the breweries include the following, with a handful more of each to be announced:

  • Moon Dog.
  • Burnley Brewing.
  • Holgate.
  • White Rabbit.
  • Dainton.
  • Mountain Goat.
  • Brewmanity
  • Aunty Jacks.
  • Red Duck.
  • Cubby Haus.

Tickets cost $59pp which gets you 12 beer samples, a Beer Hop glass (with sling), a t-shirt and covers the cost of entertainment throughout the day.
