Get ready to celebrate the best of the west as the country's longest-running beer week returns in June.
WA Beer Week 2022 features more than 50 events at breweries, bars and restaurants across the state, from June 3 to 12.
The diverse lineup includes brewery tours, tap takeovers, degustations, beer launches, a beer and art session, long table dinners, beer crawls, a chance to be a brewmaster for a day. and more.
It all kicks off with a launch party on June 2 at Gage Roads' amazing new waterfront venue in Freo, where guests will be able to enjoy live music, an array of WA brews, Beer Week's traditional tapping of the beer barrel and more.
As the WA beer community prepares to celebrate their 19th Beer Week, WA Brewers Association president Andy Scade said: “Anybody with a passing interest in hospitality knows that times have been a bit rough – from lockdowns and restrictions, to staff shortages, isolation, fear and hesitation, it’s been a tough time for what is usually such a vibrant and friendly community.
“With the light at the end of the tunnel now burning brightly, we’re keen to keep the love of local beer alive and help our breweries and hospitality industry when they need it most."
