Oh yes, Fancy Hank's and Fixation are at it again. For four years the duo has teamed up to present an annual beer dinner, and this fifth feast promises to be as memorable as ever. 

This year's theme is "Bones & Buds", whereby each course will feature a fresh take on hops (the buds) or smoked meat (the bones) and will of course feature a Fixation beer to match. Here's how it's shaping up menu-wise:

Snacks:

  • Fixation Beer nuts
  • Smoked bone marrow aioli, parsley, smoked tomato and caper flatbread (lemon zest and shallots) 

Entrees:

  • Hog belly grilled over pork bone charcoal and sous vide shiitakes
  • Buttermilk brined chicken wings, sweet and sour hot sauce, onion ranch, trout roe

Main:

  • Grilled beef intercostals - hops chimichurri

Sides:

  • Leafy greens
  • Fennel, fennel pollen
  • Grilled leeks, hazelnuts, burnt butter

Dessert:

  • Smoker-braised quince, guava marshmallow, yogurt and honeycomb

If you're keen (and, c'mon, why wouldn't you be...), get in early as tickets tend to sell out.
