When it comes to celebrating IPAs, a day is good, but a week is better. That's the approach BentSpoke has taken for International IPA Day (otherwise known as August 4) as they bend the rules towards their hoppy whims.
What it means is that from August 1-7 you'll be able to head into the Braddon brewpub and enjoy a feast of IPA-infused food, a sample bar that'll feature some of the brewery's all-time favourite IPAs, and a couple of brand new IPAs coming at you fresh off the line. They'll even have some hop-ropriate merch on offer too.
To whet your appetite, here's a sampler of the menu they're serving up...
- Cluster 8 double IPA paired with Claystone red nut sausages w/ celeriac and apple puree and Cluster 8 braised lentils
- Crankshaft IPA paired with chargrilled Crankshaft pickled jalapenos w/ cheesy pork mince, nduja and tomato dressing w/spiced pine nut crunch
- Back To The Ditch paired with a whole butterflied trout w/ Back To The Ditch almond cream, roast cauliflower, capers, hops salted almonds and lemon butter
Courses can be ordered on their own, or as a $60 set menu with the paired beers.
