You should know the drill by now...
At midday (AEDT) on December 7, voting opens in the beer world's biggest people's choice vote: the GABS Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers.
The 2022 poll is the 15th time Aussie beer lovers have been called upon to pick their favourite five craft beers – last year, more than 50,000 cast their votes as BentSpoke's Crankshaft IPA went back-to-back, pipping Balter XPA and Your Mates Larry.
This time around, voters also go into a draw for the chance to win a share of $5,000 in prizes ahead of GABS Countdown parties at breweries and venues around the country – plus the Hottest 100 live podcast – on January 28, 2023, as the top 100 is unveiled.
In addition to the main list, there will also be lists for the Hottest 100 Indie Beers, New Beers brewed in 2022, and Hottest Next Beers (101-200).
The poll has come a long way from its origins at The Local Taphouse in St Kilda, as reflected by its roster of partners this time around. Joining long-term GABS partners Dan Murphy's and BWS are the Coles family of booze retailers: First Choice Liquor Market is the poll's platinum sponsor alongside new supporting partners Klaviyo, Big Commerce, Vintage Cellars and Liquorland.
Voting closes on January 20, 2023.
