If the promise of a brand new event can be judged by the quality of the people and businesses that have gotten involved, Wollongong beer lovers are in for a treat this weekend as the first ever Collabruary takes place.
It's happening on February 24 and 25 at the home of Seeker Brewing in Unanderra, where 11 collaboration beers – ten of them brand new, some keg-only releases – will be pouring.
From cold IPAs to raspberry lemonade sours, expect a lot of interesting stuff from some top local brewers, notably Aether, Bracket Brewing, Burnley, Esker, Five Barrel, Lost Palms, Philter, Principle, Sea Legs, Slow Lane and Sunday Road.
There'll be live music both evenings, plus wood-fired pizzas from the Pizza Truck all weekend long.
Plans are to make the event an annual fixture, but you know what they say: you never forget your first time. So, why not make this yours?
