Good food, good beer, good times and a good cause are all on the menu as the charity party that is The Brewers Lunch rolls into to Sydney – if not for the first time, then the first in a long time.
On the afternoon of September 22 they're headed to Vessel Dining & Bar down near the waters of Darling Harbour where Young Henrys will provide the requisite lubrication for a four hour session that includes a two course meal, professional comedy set, raffles and charity auctions.
While you'll undoubtedly have a good time – particularly if you've bunked off work for the afternoon – the underlying purpose of the event is to raise money for Parramatta Mission, an organisation that provides assistance to the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the community – including those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, facing crisis and people living with mental illness – to help transform their lives.
Guests from Young Henrys and Parramatta Mission will both be on hand to share their respective stories throughout the afternoon.
Tickets are limited and you can book yours here.
