In a beer world where boundary-pushing is the norm, there's something nice about the traditions of Oktoberfest. There's really nothing fancy about it. Just loads of good beer, a few bites of salty bread snacks, clinking glasses with strangers, and perhaps a little tabletop dancing.
If you'd like to take part in the best of it* head to Beermash from September 28 to October 5 as they load their taps with a whole lot of German and German-inspired beers.
You can expect to see plenty of imports from the likes of Schneider Weisse, Weltenburger, Schlenkerla, and Weihenstephaner alongside some of the cream of the local Oktoberfest offerings in the form of Burnley Brewing’s annual collaborations.
If you're able to attend on the opening night, you can take advantage of the Froth Pass which gets you the following:
- Three schooners of your choice from the Burnley range
- A freshly baked salted pretzel
- 10% off all other Oktoberfest beers
- 15% off takeaways
Froth Passes are valid September 28 only, and you can book yours here.
*Tabletop dancing is by no means guaranteed
