The Brookvale beer scene isn't just one of the most populous in Australia, it's also one of the most forward-thinking when it comes to events.
Already, the brewers and other producers that call that part of the Northern Beaches home have come together for joint events such as BrookieFest and now they're at it again with Brooktoberfest.
On October 12, guests are invited to join Brookie Collective for a pub crawl featuring some of the area's most beloved breweries and venues, including Freshwater Brewing, 7th Day Brewing, Bucketty's, Dad & Dave's, Manly Spirits, and Goodradigbee.
Along the way, attendees will get to enjoy a four German-inspired brews, schnapps, cocktails and snacks from Volkswurst food trucks and Sale Pepe. There are also games and competitions at each venue.
Hannah Brecknell, chair of the Brookie Collective says: "This event is a celebration of our local breweries and the vibrant community that surrounds them. We invite everyone to come out and enjoy a day of great beer, good food, and live entertainment."
Tickets include an Oktoberfest-style beverage at each venue, a bite to eat at 3 PM, and the chance to win prizes for the best dressed.
Tickets cost $75pp and are available until October 10 or until sold out.
