If a trans-Tasman pint-pong game between superstar brewers Garage Project and Range Brewing is what you've been hankering for, you're in luck as the Saccharomyces Beer Cafe plays host to some major hostilities.
The Garage Shooting Range: Trans-Tasman Pint-Pong Championship will take place on November 2 and see the lane become the scene of an epic bar game competition featuring extreme athleticism* and brutal banter; they may be buddies in the brewery and team up to produce some cracking collaborations, but on the pitch it's all on for young and old.
And since it's a team game, they're offering the chance for you to join in. So if you reckon you've got the skills to propel your favoured brewery towards bragging rights, just rock up on the day to register. It's free to play, and there'll be sweet merch prizes up for grabs. Selection via knockout rounds will kick off around 1pm, with the final showdown between Range and Garage Project at 2:30pm.
Needless to say, the taps will be fully representing the battle and flowing with some of the finest beers to come from each brewery - not least the very highly rated Lights & Music Triple IPA.
The fun starts at midday, but for more details head here.
