A few months ago, 3 Ravens turned the warehouse they'd been using for storage into a live music venue.
Since then, they've hosted a series of eclectic parties in the space behind their brewery in Thornbury, and now they're ramping things up for summer with the arrival of Ravens Yard.
Over six weekends, following a soft launch on Saturday, November 16, the pop-up will host DJs and sound systems every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, creating what they're calling: "A low key, family-friendly backstreet hideaway oozing with flavour, fun and mischief!"
As well as the music (of which more below), the warehouse and car park out front will be home to bocce, basketball, mini-pickleball and a rotating selection of street food offerings. When it comes to booze, as well as 3 Ravens beers, they'll be pouring spritzers and cocktails in the sun.
There are also cosy indoor chill-out spaces in what they plan to turn into the "ultimate big kids playground where the kids can run raucous too!"
Ravens Yard is at 260 Dundas Street, Thornbury.
NB The 3 Ravens crew are offering a free beer to everyone that joins them between 3pm and 5pm on November 16.
