Is there another Aussie brewery that's packed so much colour and flavour into their first six years as have One Drop?
Since opening in 2019 the Botany brewers have seemingly been riding the crest of an ever expanding rainbow, pushing the boundaries of what you might reasonably expect your beer to taste like or be made of (not to mention punching out award-winning beers of a more traditional bent).
Thus, to celebrate their sixth birthday, on February 15 the equally colourful crew at Beermash will be pouring an eclectic range of One Drop beers. As evidenced by the list below there'll be something for everyone (and a lot of things if you like heaps of fruit and/or hops in your beer...).
- Diagonal - Strawberry, mango, coconut ice cream, Uganda vanilla & Marlborough sea salt sour (collaboration with Garage Project, NZ)
- Endgame - Feijoa, mango & coconut water triple fruited Florida Weisse (collaboration with Tripping Animals, USA)
- Skewer - Cocoa, vanilla & toasted coconut imperial pastry stout (collaboration with Finback, USA)
- Check Mate - Cali IPA hopped with Krush, Citra & Nelson Sauvin (collaboration with Green Cheek, USA)
- Angel's Gambit - DDH DIPA hopped with Riwaka, Motueka & Eggers LiLy with Clean Fusion (collaboration with Cloudwater, UK)
- Kingside - LoDo Bohemian Pilsner with German malt, noble hops, and 10-week cold lagering (collaboration with Weyermann Specialty Malts, Germany)
- Don't Look Back - Mango, guava, passionfruit & banana smoothie cream sour with coconut cream and French vanilla ice cream
- Dreamland - Passionfruit, mandarin, mango, and coconut water Florida Weisse
- Bays To Baes - West Coast IPA fresh hopped with Simcoe, Centennial, Mosaic & Citra (collaboration with ParrotDog, NZ)
- Eaze Mode - Cali IPA with fresh US & NZ hop cones
Doors open at midday, and they'll have a free tasting at 2pm.
