For all the buzz surrounding craft beer around inner Melbourne, you don't have to go too far to run out of options. It's a situation that's starting to change and one man that's been on a mission to facilitate that change is Peter Mitcham, aka [Prof Pilsner of the Beer Blokes](/features/post/blog-of-the-month-beer-blokes/). A veritable man about town of the Victorian craft beer scene, he's been honing his skills at regular beer dinners in Berwick since before most of you knew such things existed and, more recently, has been brought in to host events at The Local Taphouses, the Terminus Hotel and Beer DeLuxe among others, as well as during Good Beer Week in May. Being a man of the east himself, he's keen to see things improve in his locality so has hooked up with the team at [Club Kilsyth](http://www.clubkilsyth.com.au/welcome.php) for a journey through beer which sees him pairing five beers from some of Australia's finest microbreweries with matched food.
