The Vic on the Park is set to host the fourth incarnation of it's annual Good Beer and Cider Festival on September 12, 2015.
Growing bigger and better each year by supporting more small brewers, this time around they're showcasing 25 producers and around 80 different things to try, including regular and one-off brews. There'll be a strong Inner West contingent including:
- Wayward Brewing
- Rocks Brewing
- Shenanigans
- Grifter
- Young Henrys
- Willie the Boatman
- Batch Brewing
- Akasha Brewing
They'll be pouring their wares alongside stalwarts of the Aussie craft beer scene such as Mountain Goat, Feral, 4 Pines, and Lord Nelson. Ciders will be plentiful too, from the likes of Batlow and Hills Cider.
If you plan on getting there early (and why wouldn't you), Andrew Robson of the Lord Nelson brewery will be leading a beer masterclass between 11am and noon.
Throughout the day there'll be DJs spinning tunes, spit roasters rolling out gourmet meat and giant paella pans heaping loads of flavour of the festival.
The event has become increasingly popular over the past few years and spaces are limited, so if you don't want to risk being stuck at the gate, tickets can be picked up from the Enmore Wine Shop (attached to The Vic). Entry is free with tasting tokens costing $20 for five beers.
