The monthly Ale Stars evening at The Local Taphouse is one of Australia's most beloved regular beer events. Attracting a mixture of beer lovers, both old and new, it's a fun and interesting way to learn about everyone's favourite beverage.
Based on a different theme every month - usually a brewery, country or beer style - the event takes you on a happy, hoppy jaunt around the beer world, complete with food, quizzes and plenty of good banter.
Leading the way, you'll have a brewer on hand to entertain with stories, expertise, insight and - most importantly - to tell you about the beer you're drinking.
For October 2015 Scott Wilson-Browne, the founder and head brewer from Red Duck, will be flying in (metaphorically) from Ballarat with a handful of beers from his extraordinarily broad range. This night will feature the following:
- Double Dragon 10th Anniversary Brew
- Tangerine Funk Duck Belgian Ale
- Red Duck Porter (cask conditioned)
- Coffee Cream Brew (cask conditioned)
