NOLA & Little Bang Fringe FestivAle Launch I

NOLA is a new Adelaide beer venue that asked the beer-loving public to pay for its taps via crowd-funding – raising well over its $15,000 target to install a 16-tap system with the promise that they'd never pour anything other than beers from small, independent breweries.

They've stayed true to their word since opening, combining beers from all over Australia with a New Orleans aesthetic and a passion for whisky, rye and bourbon.

As Adelaide's busiest month of the year approaches, they've hooked up with one of their favourite local breweries, Little Bang, to create the Fringe FestivAle Series: four different beers that will be released each week over the course of the Fringe.

The idea was sparked by the Fringe organisers themselves, who approached NOLA with the idea in the hope of impressing festival goers with their very own brew.

They're saying little about each beer – very little, in fact – but will only be tapping two kegs of each. All they'll reveal is that each one will be "unique" and include "some exclusive ingredients".

The first beer will be tapped at NOLA on February 12 with subsequent FestivAles tapped each of the next three Fridays.

You'll find NOLA at 293 to 295 Rundle Street (enter via Vardon Avenue). And on here soon when we finish their page for our venues directory.
