Evans Street will become little München on October 8 as the Hobart Brewing Company pays homage to some traditional Oktoberfest celebrations.
They’ve already got a festival bier lagering in anticipation, plus new spring seasonals on the way that will end up with eight taps pouring. In accompaniment you’ll be able to enjoy German food from the fire pit, live music and brewer Jimmy in lederhosen [which presumably is a selling point…].
You can buy a couple of forms of ticket in advance: $23 gets you entry, bratwurst and a drink while $40 gets you the same but with the addition of a one litre stein that’ll be filled on arrival and yours to keep thereafter.
