Need a hop hit on Australia Day (and its Eve if you can't wait that long)? Then look no further than The Noble Hops which is eschewing the notion of a balanced tap list by loading every one of theirs with an IPA.
The method behind the madness is to have a crack at picking out the best from amongst the current crop of Aussie IPAs, the shortlist having been put forward by drinkers via the Craft Beer Crew Facebook page.
In no particular order other than reverse alphabetical, the list of ten looks like this:
- Stockade Brew Co 8Bit
- Pirate Life IPA
- Modus Operandi Sonic Prayer
- Hop Nation The Chop
- Fixation IPA
- Feral Warhog
- Big Shed Californicator
- Batch Brewing West Coast IPA
- Bacchus Mosaic Single Hop IPA
- Akasha Korben D (yes it’s technically a double IPA, but it’s very fresh)
Doors open at 1pm on January 25 and they’ll be pouring until the end of Australia Day, or until they run out.
