Hottest 100 Countdown Official Events 2017

The big reveal of the Hottest 100 Beers for 2016 is nearly here, so it’s time to plan how you're going to spend the day following it. There’s an extensive list of venues across the country hosting official events of many varieties, from tap takeovers to Australia Day barbecues to backyard cricket to cycling.

Live Countdown

You can follow the live results in many ways:

  • Right here at The Crafty Pint, complete with the customary comprehensive analysis once the results are in
  • Alongside the team at Brews News who will be hosting a live podcast throughout the day
  • With the GABS crew via the official website and social media

The results will start to be revealed from 12:30pm (AEDT) and the #1 beer will be announced at 5pm.

Hottest 100 Sweep

For the first time, a sweepstake style game has been brought in so you can enjoy a bit of oneupmanship over your mates as your picks come in above theirs. Download it here

The social element

Using the awesome power of social media, you’re encouraged to share the beers you’re enjoying on the day, and the ways in which you're doing it, with the #Hottest100Beers hashtag. These will go into the live Social Screen that will be broadcast at the official venues below. Taking part in the hashtag campaign will put you in the running to win four tickets to the GABS festival in May.
