One of Australia's longest running beer festivals turns ten this March.
The Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival celebrates the anniversary on March 18. Once more, it takes place in the gardens of the heritage Mercure Canberra in Braddon and features breweries from across Australia along with live bands, food, entertainment and kids activities.
The 2017 festival promises to showcase more than 100 beers and ciders as well as beer/cider food matching sessions hosted by guest speakers and meet the brewers sessions. And we've been given some sweet prize packs to give away too (see below).
Already confirmed in attendance are:
- Sydney Brewery
- BentSpoke Brewing
- HopDog BeerWorks
- Lord Nelson
- Rocks Brewing
- Gage Roads
- Pact Beer
- Wayward Brewing
- Doctor's Orders Brewing
- Little Creatures
- Dad and Dave’s Brewing
- Stone Dog Meadery
- Hope Estate Beer Co
and many more.
The festival is also helping to raise funds for The Cancer Support Group, ACT Eden Monaro’s Own.
Tickets, which include entry and five tasting tokens, cost $15 plus BF pre-purchase or $22 at the door.
For more on the festival and to buy tickets, head here.
The festival runs from 11am to 6pm.
We've secured two groups of six tickets to the festival worth $90 each. We'll be giving one away via our Facebook page so keep an eye out for that appearing on February 8.
And we're offering the other to Crafty Pint supporters who've signed up to our beer lovers bonus scheme The Crafty Cabal. Members can enter the ballot now; if you want to sign up or find out more about it, head here.
We'll pick winners for both competitions on February 17 so you've still got time to buy tickets if you miss out.
