There's no doubt that Pirate Life is one of the big success stories of Aussie brewing in the past couple of years, winning admirers all over the land, picking up several top spots in successive people's Hottest 100 Beers polls, and having come away with their fair share of swag at beer competitions too.
It's therefore little surprise that venues all over the country have been keen to get their hands on as many of their beers on tap and in fridges as possible, though few have managed to get as many on at one time as The Welder's Dog is about to.
On Wednesday March 22 the local beer-loving bar in Armidale is putting on its biggest tap takeover to date with a full dozen Pirate Life beers pouring. That will feature all the regulars plus a bunch of limited releases, as follows:
- Apricot Berliner Weisse
- Barrel aged Saison
- Golden Era Golden Ale
- Throwback IPA
- Pale Ale
- NZ Pale
- Mosaic IPA
- Baby Porter
Befitting the occasion, one of the founding Pirates will be making the trip up from Adelaide for the evening to share a few tales and a few beers. You'll not be left hungry as Ultimate BBQ will be frying up some chicken to go with your hop bombs.
This kick off in earnest from 5pm so there's plenty of time for you to enjoy a full evening.
