Every month for nigh on four years the Empire Hotel has welcomed brewers and punters into their gorgeous dining room for a Saturday afternoon beer club. And with the rude health of the industry and the increasingly diverse cast of characters contained within, 2017 has seen the Beer Club pulling in even bigger crowds than ever before.
That's set to continue in May as they welcome in two brewers from opposing ends of the spectrum. On the larger side is Stockade from Sydney's southwest which has been winning over plenty of drinkers with a wildly diverse range of beers and, on a much smaller scale is Bucket Boys, possibly the only bottleshop in the country with a dedicated brewing team.
Brewers or reps from each will be along for a bit of banter while the beers on offer are:

- This Is Rice Country – Rice Lager
- The Grenville – Double IPL
- Rye Saison
- And The Hops Were Not Boiled In Their Tanks – New England IPA
A spot will cost you $25 which gets you a paddle of each brewer's beers, some nibbles and giveaways.
