Best of GABS Showcases 2017

Missed GABS? Set your FOMO to one side because all is not lost.

As has become something of a tradition, many of the country's top beer spots make use of the post-festival glut of GABS beers to showcase some of the best or most interesting beers, either at dedicated events or just by incorporating a selection with their regular offerings.

We'll aim to update this list as details come to hand, but the following provides a starting point. For updated tap lists visit the venue's Crafty Pint page or check out NowTapped.

If you're a venue doing something with GABS beers, let us know and we'll add you below.

Hotel Sweeney's: May 28–June 4

There was no mucking around from the crew at Sweeney's as less than 12 hours after the festival finished in Sydney they'd tapped half a dozen festival beers. Expect plenty more to be added throughout the following week.

Local Taphouses: June 2-4

With The Taphouse team also being responsible for running the GABS festival, expect to see many of the festival's best beers pouring when the St Kilda and Darlinghurst venues each showcase 20 of them over the weekend starting Friday June 2.

Grain Store: June 2-4

Newcastle's craftiest corner spot goes totally GABS-tastic when it turns over all 21 of its taps to festival beers on June 2. Kegs will be on for as long as they last so get in quick if there's something you especially want to try.

Harts Pub: June 3

The old boozer in The Rocks is hosting its 'Couldn't get to GABS' tap takeover on Saturday 3rd June, giving over at least half its taps to GABS beers, and mainly to NSW brewers. They'll be tapped around midday Saturday and will be on 'til they're gone.
