Kereru Tap Takeover at Harts Pub (NSW)

New Zealand has a lot of interesting brewers and one of the more interesting ones comes from the wider Wellington region in the form of Kereru. They've taken something of a 'local-first' attitude to a great many of their beers and, as such, have come up with some rather unique brews based on uniquely New Zealand ingredients, from pohutakawa honey to the karengo seaweed. They've also carved out a formidable reputation when it comes to stouts and porters.

And they'll be showing off some of them this Tuesday at Hart's Pub when they take over half a dozen taps with the following:

  • Yellowhead – Session IPA
  • Karengose – Seaweed gose
  • Resonator – IPA
  • For Great Justice – Wood fired toasted coconut porter
  • Imperial NIBS – Cacao, vanilla and coconut imperial porter
  • Black Ruby – Cacao, coffee and raspberry imperial stout

Some of the team from Kereru will be making the trip over The Ditch, so take the opportunity to share a beer with them – if you're there at around 5pm they'll even shout you one.
