Job Description: Logistics and Warehouse Manager

Ballistic Beer Co is a multi-award-winning, innovative Craft Brewery, based in Salisbury, Brisbane. Ballistic operates two bars as well as selling our beers nationally, with our reach growing constantly. Ballistic brews great beers that appeal to the craft beer fan but are still accessible for those coming to craft beer for the first time. Ballistic has doubled in size every year of operation and intends to continue this growth going forward.

About The Role:

As our Logistics and Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our beer from the receiving of raw materials to the packaging of cartons and kegs to dispatch to our customers. You will be responsible for managing the production inventory software, including entering new product into it, undertaking regular stocktakes and reconciling product movements and variances. You will organise, book and dispatch product. Ballistic uses several 3PL operators in other states and you will be required to monitor stock levels at those sites.

Many of our customers are located in and around Brisbane. You will be required to undertake delivery runs 1-2 days a week. You must be a safe driver. You must also be able to represent Ballistic positively to our retail customers when delivering their beer. This is a mixture of hands-on and computer work, with weekly driving duties as well.

As Logistics and Warehouse Manager, you will meet weekly with the Head Brewer and National Sales Manager to discuss production scheduling, off-site warehouse stock levels and delivery scheduling. You will part of the wider Ballistic team and play an important role in the smooth operation of the brewery.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have experience operating in all facets of warehousing and dispatch and is looking to take the next step up. Manual work will be required moving cartons and kegs, so physical fitness is required. You must be organised, accurate, highly self-motivated and able to work without supervision.

Requirements:

• Driver license (manual) with good driving history.
• Forklift License
• Basic computer competency
• Good organisational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Neat and tidy appearance. Ability to grow a beard viewed favourably.
• Basic computer skills

The role is full time and the successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package based on experience.
