10 Toes Brewery were one of the first to help turn the Sunshine Coast into a local beer lover's paradise.
As the brewery undergoes significant expansion, the team is looking to take on a new head brewer.
Job Description: Head Brewer
10 Toes Brewery has been brewing since early 2016 with a primary focus on brand recognition in our local area. We have the greatest distribution and brand recognition in our area as we continue to build on our tribal unity across into new regions. We have just commissioned a new 20hL production brewhouse and canning line and diving growth across SEQ and northern NSW. We are a small tribe within our larger tribal community, we embrace an open & inclusive culture.
The Mission should you choose to accept it:
You will be a key driver in all aspects of production, product development, quality control, product stability, packaging, raw materials / cellar management, laboratory testing and development and implementation of HACCP. While the new facility has been largely automated, the roll requires a hands-on approach to all areas of day to day activities, supported by a strong proven ability to develop and implement a documented procedure based environment to ensure consistency.
You will have a formal qualification in brewing science and a proven history working hands on in all areas of a commercial craft brewery. You have a strong work ethic and a positive enthusiastic attitude that lifts those around you, naturally you’re a team player and will embrace our tribal unity culture. You are technically minded and are a natural problem solver…. Always seeking continuous improvement, you understand that we never stop learning… you will be fully supported to ensure near enough is not good enough and the beer just how you want it when it reaches our consumers hands.
Above all that other stuff you are passionate about the craft and live and breathe BEER on and off the job. You have a creative mind and will be able to express yourself through our strong focus on innovative seasonal releases, Viva La Bier…..
