Job Description: Head Chef

The Flat Rock Brew Café is the only brewery in Sydney's Lower North Shore and is one of a very small amount of true brewpubs in Australia.

As we continue to become known for our great beer, we're currently looking for a chef to take our food to another level. We want our food to complement our other offerings through a high quality, interesting and well presented menu.

If you're a beer loving chef, this is the job for you!

Our ideal candidate will fully run the kitchen, including ordering, maintaining careful and efficient stock control, uphold a strict cleaning program and ensure clear communication when working closely with the brewer and bar manager.

Whilst being part of a small team, you will be given a high level of autonomy in developing the menu. Additionally, we hold regular beer related events and group bookings that provide opportunities to showcase our food in interesting ways, including beer matching.

Experience in a similar venue is an advantage, but not essential and an attractive remuneration package is available for the right candidate.
