Fixation are part of the Fermentum family of businesses and focus on brewing IPAs in all shapes and sizes.
If you've got a creative bent and marketing know-how, they might just have your dream job.
Job Description: Marketing & Creative All-Rounder
Want one of the best marketing gigs in craft beer?
Founded in 2015, Fixation Brewing Co. is proudly obsessed with hops and making the best and freshest beers we can. From this single-minded obsession, Fixation Brewing Co. has been built into a clearly defined brewery in the Australian craft beer landscape. After all, we are the only Australian brewer that is singly focused on producing IPA and we were stoked to be awarded the ‘Champion Independent Brewery’ by the Independent Brewers Association in 2019. We are a growing craft beer business with plenty of great opportunities ahead!
Fixation is also part of the Fermentum Family of businesses (which includes Stone & Wood), so we are privileged to be part of a broader business that values quality and safety, whilst including the fun and benefits that come with being part of a family.
Through a newly created opportunity, we are on the hunt for a great marketing gun to join our small team, based in Melbourne.
About the gig
We’re a humble bunch, and this role is nothing if not hands on.
You’ll look after end to end marketing activity for our Fixation brand, including brand planning, activation, communications, social media and performance tracking, product NPD & changes. We are proud of our home, ‘the incubator’ tasting room & brewery in Collingwood, and you will work closely with us on venue events, overall venue marketing, community engagement and in-house promotions.
Maybe you don’t have the full appreciation for IPA’s yet…that’s cool. We have plenty of hop heads who can school you in the details! But this is a role for someone who does feel passionate about beer, the craft beer market and what it stands for.
It’s important you also bring a solid background in brand management, marketing and trade activation, with the skills and capability to manage multiple projects and turn your hand to different creative needs no matter how big or small. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a few good years of experience behind them who is ready to take on an autonomous role while still being part of a hard working & close-knit little team.
Our culture is casual and down to earth but we care a lot about what we do and how we go about it. We’d love to hear from people who are natural collaborators, aren’t afraid to roll their sleeves up to get the job done and ready immerse themselves in the wonderful world of beer!
Send us a one page cover letter telling us why this is the gig for you along with your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org by COB Friday 7 August and we will get back to you in the coming weeks.
