Job Description: Brand & Sales Representative - Far North Queensland
Stone & Wood is serious about good beer. Not just good in the sense of great tasting, quality beverages - but also good in aspiring to be a conscious business that supports our local communities and partners with our customers to bring great experiences to our drinkers.
We’re looking to add an experienced person to our Road Crew to continue to build our presence in the Far North Queensland region, ideally based in the Townsville or surrounding areas. While representing Stone & Wood you’ll not only work with our portfolio of products, but also sell across our other Fermentum brands, including delicious IPA’s from Fixation Brewing Co., Sunly Seltzer, Little Dragon Ginger Beer and Granite Belt Cider Co.
We’re on the hunt for someone who’s super ingrained in the region, as we’ll be leaning on your knowledge and understanding of the FNQ territory to drive and guide us in this exciting market. Ideally you’ll come from a background with a strong sales focus within the FMCG space, with solid years of experience on the road behind you.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thinks of customers first, communicates confidently and represents our brands in the simple, down to earth style we value so much. You’ll be a valued member of our Road Crew team and you’ll get lots of autonomy with us, and given the remote location, your self-awareness and ability to self-manage are super important.
What will you get up to in this exciting role?
- Delivering on regional sales plans, building territory plans and working closely with team mates on strategic priorities
- Growing our brands in a competitive marketplace - covering both new and existing customers
- Showcasing our range of brands across a diverse community of drinkers
- Tastings, bar shouts and beer education
- Coordinating brand activations including event support
- Building strong community relationships
- Deal with a mix of on-premise and off-premise venues
- And most importantly, supporting our customers
The important bits: you would ideally be based in the Townsville area, and its important you have a full drivers license, a current QLD RSA and full rights to work in Australia. This is a full-time role with flexible work hours which may include weekend work here and there, it also involves significant travel time given the territory extends from Mackay to Cairns.
